I accept payment through PayPal. Once the design questionnaire has been approved and a final package has been agreed upon, I will send you an invoice for 50% of the total cost of the design (your deposit). This is due upon receipt in order to add you to my design calendar. Your spot is not secured on my design calendar/waiting list until the deposit is paid and the questionnaire has been approved by me. The remaining 50%, plus any other fees accrued during the design process, will be invoiced prior to installation. Once full payment has been received, I will install your design.
By submitting your payment, you have agreed to the terms of service on this page whether you have read them or not.
Refunds will only be granted if I have not started working on your design. If I have already purchased images for your design, this will be taken out of your deposit and the remainder of your deposit returned. If I have already started on your design, a refund will not be granted for any reason, no exceptions.
Once you have decided that you would like me to work on your design, I will email you a design questionnaire. It is extremely important that you fill out this questionnaire in its entirety before emailing it back. If you are unsure of some of the questions or elements needed, please don’t hesitate to email me with any questions you may have. The questionnaire is very important to the design process as it is the place I have all of the details I need to complete your design. If details are given in follow-up email communication, I cannot guarantee those details will be incorporated in the final design. If you have something specific in mind for your design, please be sure to incorporate this into the questionnaire.
I can design for both the Blogger and WordPress platforms. If you choose a custom design on the WordPress platform, you will be required to purchase a domain name and hosting service prior to me starting your design. I will walk you through this process to make sure you get setup properly.
Designs usually take 1-2 weeks* once they have been started (not from when the deposit has been paid and not until we are both clear on your vision for your design.) Once all of the details are ironed out, I will give you an estimated start date. I cannot guarantee a completion date due to outside factors such as design revisions and my personal schedule (I work out of town 5 days a week).
*Design time varies based upon the details of your design.
It is the client’s responsibility to backup all Widgets and HTML and/or CSS templates prior to installation on the blog for Blogger and WordPress. I am not responsible for anything lost.
It is the client’s responsibility to obtain any copyright permissions needed for images they submit to me for use. By submitting a photo, image, or graphic to use, you are stating that you have permission to use the file on your site. Pink Heels Pink Truck is not responsible for any Copyright issues you are presented with by using those files. I strongly advise that you forward me your copyright license for any images/graphics you submit to me. I take copyright issues very seriously.
Each design is given a preliminary concept for you to approve. After this concept has been submitted to you, the package fee includes up to 3 major revisions (if needed). After 3 major revisions have been made, each revision thereafter will be an additional $20 per revision. It is very important that you are 100% satisfied with your design, so it is important to be as specific as possible in order to limit the number of revisions. Minor revisions will be made throughout the process at no cost, unless they become excessive. You will be notified of this prior to the charge being added on if excessive revisions are being requested.
All communication during the design process will be done through email. Emails will be replied to in a timely manner. It is also requested that you reply to emails in a timely manner as well. While I am working on your design, it is important for you to check your email often to make sure the process continues as quickly as it can. If you do not respond in a reasonable time (more than 5 days), your project will be moved to the bottom of the waiting list.
I am sometimes available on Google+ Chat or Google+ Hangout. If I need an immediate answer to a design question, and I see that you are online, I will try to contact you through chat in order to expedite the process. If you prefer not to be contacted through chat, I must be notified ahead of time.
If you request a specific image or a specific type of image to be used in your design, you will be charged for the cost of the image. I use various stock photo websites (iStockphoto, BigStockPhoto to name a few). If you want to customize the image to have the colors match exactly to your design, I will charge an additional $10 recolor fee per image.
All designs are created under a test site and not designed on your actual site. You will be able to see your final design on my test site prior to installation. In order to install your new design, I will need your Blogger/Wordpress/Web Hosting log in information. If you feel the need, please change the password to your log in for the temporary time that I will be working on your blog installation.
You are given 72 hours to become familiar with your design and become familiar with its features. If for any reason you have any minor revisions that need to be made during that time, they are free of charge. After that time period, you will be charged for each revised element (including HTML coding)
I will retain your file with images and templates for 6 months in case anything major happens. After this time, the images will be removed from my computer. If you need any images after this time, it will be charged as a new design.
All designs created by Pink Heels Pink Truck may not be altered in any way. If at anytime you choose to remove an aspect of my design you must notify me. Any changes to the design made by anyone other than me are not an accurate reflection of my design work. I reserve the right to have you remove the design created by me should you alter it or distort it in any way.
All designs remain the property of Pink Heels Pink Truck. They are made to be used as purchased (headers as headers, buttons as buttons, etc.). All designs may be used by Pink Heels Pink Truck for any other purpose, including portfolios, etc.
If you have any questions about these terms, please feel free to contact me.
