Vintage Jean Patch Tutorial

I have a pair of rustic looking jeans that the holes were getting bigger every time I stepped into them. I’ve been on the hunt for awhile for fabric to patch the holes with but hadn’t had any luck, until now. I was searching for a vintage-looking fabric with lace. What I found was even better. It has ruffles and lace!! Here’s how I made a vintage-looking jean patch to fix my holes. Enjoy!!

Someone Like You

Some of you know that one of my life long dreams is to be a country music performer. I’ve been singing since I was a little kid. My first solo was at 4 years old. I sang Away in the Manger. Everybody say “awwwwww” ;) Of course all this biz-ness is WAY before social media. Who knew that there would be cell phones that could record video and upload to the internet nearly instantaneously. Pshhh…cell phones didn’t exist when I was 4. Not even the bags with the phones inside (my mom later had one when I was in junior high). ;) I decided it was time to put myself out there. Meaning in the interwebs with a quick cover of Adele’s Someone Like You. Now I know this song is no where near a country music song. I do sing other genres, but country music is my soul. Still, I give mad props to the beauty, Adele and attempted my version of her song. Hope you enjoy!!

A Selfie Interview

Y’all know I like to talk. {What?? You didn’t??} Okay, okay. The secret is out. I love talking. I’m a pretty good listener too, just so you know. But I love to talk. And what better way to share my love of talking than another VLOG! ;) (aka my selfie interview) lol This one answers questions from Veronica (Adventures of D & V), Cassie (Southeast by Midwest), Lauren (From Our Hiding Place) and AJ (The Fashionable Fit Traveler). I’m talking favorite Target products, work, books turned movies, what I do while I’m on the road full time (in my spare time), when I’m going back to Connecticut and more!

If you have a question for me, leave it in the comment section and I will answer it in my next VLOG! :) Enjoy my selfie interview!
